Asia's renowned ukulele artist Kyas Ryo first gained recognition in 2007 when he won the Best Technique Prize at a Japanese ukulele competition. He is known for his adventurous spirit, using the ukulele to explore various possibilities in music.
Kyas Ryo hails from Kochi Prefecture in Japan, a place facing the Pacific Ocean, frequently visited by whales and boasting the highest forest coverage. This land of natural beauty and talent has inspired Kyas' music, and as his music has grown, aNueNue's ukuleles were there with him along the way. Together, they have created the "Kyas Whale" ukulele.

Just as whales communicate using sound frequencies and tones, the "Kyas Whale" ukulele also releases emotional energy through its playing, fostering connection and sharing with family, siblings, friends, and partners.

【KOA WHALE】
The Hawaiian Koa wood, unique to Hawaii, produces bright, crisp, sweet, and penetrating tones. Premium Koa wood generates warm mid-tones and deep bass notes, resulting in a well-balanced sound. The ebony fingerboard, with its high conductivity, further accentuates the high frequencies. The instrument's headstock, fingerboard, and body are adorned with intricate inlays of black and white mother-of-pearl, turquoise, and tiger-striped Koa wood, depicting various scenes of whales frolicking in the ocean and leaping above the surface – a breathtaking sight.

Unique to Hawaii, produces bright, crisp, sweet, and penetrating tones. Premium Koa wood generates warm mid-tones and deep bass notes, resulting in a well-balanced sound.

- Humpback Whale
Inlay used black and white mother of pearl, along with turquoise stone and curly koa wood. Gotoh UPT tuners with 1:4 gear ratio for precise tuning.

- Hard dense tone wood with silky smooth feeling
Ebony is a hard dense tone wood with silky smooth feeling. It's a stable wood to be a fretboard, adds brightness to the tone, and faster attack.

- Fretboard Inlays
Whales family inlay use selected black and white mother of pearl. Show the graceful posture of the whale swimming in the sea.

- The Inspiration from Ocean
The ocean rosette inlay with selected mother of pearl, curly maple, and turquoise stone, final touch design adorn with rosewood lines.

- Flame Maple binding
The Flame Maple binding was added for better protection to the body.

- The Whale Tail
The top ended with whale tail inlay. Selected curly maple and rosewood is use.
